Steve Ballmer unveiled the new Office and from today you can try for yourself

New applications for Windows 8 OneNote and Lync represent the first new Windows 8 Office applications. These applications are designed to make the 'first touch' experience on the tablet. The new radial menu in OneNote makes it easy to access functionalities with a finger.
Includes Windows RT. Office Home and Student 2013 RT, which include new versions of applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote will be included on the ARM architecture for Windows 8 devices including Microsoft Surface.
SkyDrive. Office is destined to keep documents in SkyDrive, including all documents and data are always available in tablet, PC or mobile phone. Documents are available without connecting to the internet and sync when you connect.
Movement. Once you have registered at the Office, personal settings, including the recently used documents, templates and custom dictionary, follow you virtually on all devices. Office even remembers where you last left off and returns you to this point in a single click.

The new subscription service. The new Office is available as a service in the cloud with a subscription. Subscribers receive multiple installations for all family members and for all devices.
Yammer. Yammer delivers a secure, private social network for businesses. You can join for free and immediately begin to connect the network. Yammer allows integration with SharePoint, and Microsoft Dynamics.
Skype. The new Office comes with Skype. Subscribers will be able to take advantage of each month, 60 minutes of Skype international calling. Integrating Skype contacts in Lync can call contacts and send instant messages to Skype contacts.
